Abstract: In this study, the violence tendency of the high school students who are rejected by their parents has been examined. 43 students punished for violence by discipline committees and 102 students chosen at random have been included in the research. 62 of them is female and 83 of them is male and in total 145 high school students have attended in the study. Examining parents acceptance or rejection behaviors in the adolescence period which is a turning point in the life of an individual becomes important. Parents Acceptance-Rejection Theory (PART) is a socialization theory which examines the effects of the child’s general adaptation with being accepted or rejected in the childhood. The income of the family, the level of education of parents, the environment resulted in violence and also socio-demographic factors like violence in the family have been discussed. The students who have been punished with disciplinary penalties related to violence, have more negligence thoughts with respect to their parents compared to the students who are not punished at all. It has been observed that the child who believes being accepted by his/her parents is more adaptable than the ones who are being rejected
