dc.description.abstractTürkiye’de okuma alışkanlığı ile ilgili az kitap okunduğuna yönelik bir algı bulunmaktadır. Bu olumsuz algıyı ortadan kaldırmak için, değişik kurumlar tarafından okuma projeleri düzenlenmektedir. Böylece bireylerin rol model insanlardan etkilenerek, kitap okumaları hedeflenmektedir. Araştırmada hem nicel hem de nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Nicel araştırma kapsamında tarama modellerinden genel tarama modeli tercih edilmiştir. Nicel araştırma kapsamında 27 sorudan oluşan likert tipi ölçek geliştirilerek uygulanmıştır. Nitel araştırma kapsamında ise 3 açık uçlu sorudan oluşan, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmış ve elde edilen veriler içerik analizi ile yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni İstanbul ili, örneklemi ise Bağcılar ilçesidir. Bağcılar ilçesinde projeye katılan 24 ilkokul, 42 ortaokul ve 14 liseden rastgele seçilen 399 katılımcı (anne) araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, okuma projesini faydalı bulan katılımcıların, çocuklarının yanında kitap okumalarının, rol model olmaları bakımından olumlu olduğu; ders başarısı ile kitap okuma arasında doğru bir ilişki olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Katılımcılar okuma kültürünün gelişmesinde büyük katkısı bulunan elektronik kitap ve teknolojik olanaklar konusunda yeterli bilgiye sahip değildir. Toplumda okuma kültürünün gelişmesine katkı sağlayabilmek amacıyla, Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı (MEB), ders müfredatlarını ailenin de içinde bulunduğu okuma ile ilgili etkinliklerle zenginleştirebilir, okullarda okuma saatleri daha etkin hale getirilebilir. Kitapların basılı ve elektronik ortamda paylaşılmasını sağlayacak ulusal düzeyde kampanyalar düzenlenebilir.tr_TR

dc.description.abstractolThere is a perception of low reading rate about the Reading habits of people. In order to exterminate this perception, many different projects are realized by different institutions. So that, it is aimed to be affected by role model people around individuals and read books. In this research; both qualitative and quantitative methods are used. In the scope of quantitative research; general scanning model is chosen. In the scope of quantitative research; a Likert Type Scale, consisting twentyseven questions, is developed and applied. In the scope of qualitative research; a half structured inview form, consisting of three open ended questions, is used and the datas are interpreted with the content analyze. The place of the research Istanbul and the sample is Bağcılar. Three hundred and ninety-nine (399) participants chosen randomly from 24 Primary Schools, 42 Secondary Schools and 14 High Schools from the town of Bağcılar constitute the sample of the research. According to the findings of the research, participants, which think that reading project is useful, think that there is a positive correlation about being a role model by reading books close to their children and between academicals success and reading books. Participants, there isn’t enough knowledge about the technological opportunities and e-books in developing the reading culture. İn order to contribute the reading culture the society; National Education Ministry (MEB) can richen the lesson curriculum with including the families in the reading activities. National Campaigns can be arranged about sharing of the books and e-books in electronical environment.tr_TR
