dc.description.abstractTürkiye’nin Avrupa Birliği’ne (AB) üyelik müzakereleri uzun yıllara dayanmaktadır. Günümüzde Türkiye’nin birliğe üyelik müzakereleri devam etmektedir. Henüz Türkiye’nin birliğe kabulü ile ilgili olumlu sonuç elde edilmemiştir. Ancak Türkiye Avrupa Birliği’ne kabul edilmemiş olmasına rağmen, Gümrük Birliği’ne kabul edilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı Gümrük Birliği anlaşmasının Türkiye ekonomisine ve tekstil sektörü verimliği üzerine etkisinin incelenmesidir. Bu bağlamda bu çalışmada Türkiye’nin Avrupa Birliği ve Gümrük Birliği üyelik sürecinde gelişen olaylar incelenecektir. Ayrıca Türkiye’nin Gümrük Birliği’ne üyeliğinin Türk Dış Ticaretine ve Türkiye’nin tekstil ve hazır giyim sektörüne olan etkisi incelenecektir. Son olarak TOPSIS yöntemi kullanılarak Türkiye’nin Gümrük Birliği anlaşmasının öncesinde ve sonrasında ekonomik performansı değerlendirilecektir. Yapılan tüm bu incelemelerin sonucunda Türkiye’nin Gümrük Birliği anlaşmasını imzalamasının ekonomik açıdan olumlu sonuçlar doğurduğu, veriler ve literatür ile desteklenmiştir.tr_TR

dc.description.abstractolTurkey's membership negotiations of European Union (EU) are going back many years. Today, Turkey's union membership negotiations are continuing. Yet, Turkey has not achieved positive results regarding the acceptance of the union. However, despite the fact that Turkey has not accepted the European Union, it has been accepted into the Customs Union. The aim of this study was to examine the effects of the Customs Union agreement on Turkey's economy and efficiency in the textile sector. In this study, developing events in the Turkey's European Union and Customs Union membership process will be examined in this context. Moreover, the impact of Turkey's membership of Customs Union to the Turkish foreign trade and Turkey's textile and garment industry will examine. Finally, with the TOPSIS method, the economic performance of Turkey's will be evaluated before and after the Customs Union agreement. The results of the entire investigation, Turkey, has led to positive economic results of the signature of the Customs Union agreement which is supported by data and literature.tr_TR
